Bodegas Lavia is located in Venta del Pino, a place of great landscape richness and strong viticultural character where payments of the variety Monastrell of height are placed, to 800 meters on the level of the sea, with more of 40 years old. The farm has 12 hectares of vineyard in the Monastrell variety , nestled in an alluvial valley with deep soils and poor organic matter.
In addition to a small plot with Syrah on one of its slopes, variety with which a coupage is made for one of its wines. Soils formed by alluviums, limes and limestone of different sizes. At the Finca Paso Malo that gives the name to the top wine of Bodegas Lavia, we find silex carried away from the upper mountains with good water reserves that are within reach of the roots of the old Monastrell vineyards , all bathed by a Mediterranean climate with continental influence that produce indispensable conditions for the wines of Bodegas Lavia to acquire their own character.
